One of my favourite moments from my trip to Milan last fashion week season was to visit the Armani Teatro – sleek in design, the complex oozed that sleek and sophisticated European luxury that Armani has become known for. Like their fashion collections (reviews of their A/W 2013 collections coming soon) and their HQ, Armani also pride themselves on beautiful craftsmanship. And that is just what they showcased during Milan Fashion Week over the weekend at a party to celebrate their new partnership with Luxottica, starting with their new Spring/Summer 2013 Eyewear collection.
The party was set up around a large table where guests could watch as Luxottica artisans demonstrated the great craftsmanship and attention to detail required in the making of each frame. It’s that touch of quality that you’re buying when you own a pair of Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani eyewear.
Guests were also treated to live music by ‘Say Lou Lou‘, the Scandinavian twin sisters music duo and mingled with (a pregnant)Fergie, Blanca Suarez, Lou Lesage, Aylin Tezel and of course Roberta Armani and Giorgio Armani.
I can’t wait to see the Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani eyewear collections when they launch in stores at Sunglass Hut and OPSM in a few months.
